Holly is a struggling novelist and single mother living in Toronto. Her routine day is interrupted by an unexpected visit from Pam, a very conservative wife and mother.

Apparently, Pam’s 15 year old son could be in a romantic relationship with Holly’s teen. Complications arrive with Cheryl, a fun-loving Newfoundlander with an unconventional lifestyle who brings “treats”. Hilarity ensues as Holly and Cheryl attempt to hide the true nature of the teens’ relationship and Pam reveals she has stolen “a little something”.
